Steel Curtains for Cleveland

Hard to swallow that we are tied with the Cleveland Browns at the bottom of the AFC North, with matching 3-6 records and matching win streaks of, uh, one. Sunday will change that, and I predict that it will be in our favor. No special trick to it--just avoid screwups and be real fierce on defense.

Exciting victory for Pittsburgh

This one wasn’t our Steelers though. It was our NHL team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, beating the L.A. Kings out in Los Angeles, 4 to 3 in overtime. Extra cool was the fact that this was the sixth NHL game rookie Evgeni Malkin has played and the sixth in which he has made a goal. As a matter of fact, he scored two—one in the first period and the winning one in OT.

It’s not like no one has ever done that before. It’s just that the last time someone did was 89 years ago. I want Penguins tickets to see this guy Malkin in person!
