Living dangerously

It was bad news to hear about Ben Roethlisberger's motorcycle accident, now tempered with good news that his condition has been upgraded and he should be out of the hospital soon, with a concussion but no permanent brain damage. Of course the Pittsburgh Steelers are worried about our favorite quarterback, but I think all of Pittsburgh is rooting for him.

For me personally, just the thought of losing a couple of teeth is enough to make me wear a helmet. Nevermind broken jaws and brain injuries. But then, I don't have the kind of job where I have to perform superbly under pressure in front of thousands of ticket buyers and millions of viewers--and with the chance I could get smooshed by some 300-pound guy while I'm doing it. I guess only a natural-born risktaker could do that.
