We jumped on them like a pack of wolves!

From sports.yahoo.com:
Pittsburgh forced four turnovers, made a key fourth-down stop and beat the hapless Miami Dolphins 13-3 Sunday night.

The Dolphins havn't looked good at all this season, and well we took advantage of that, just like all the other teams. Ben Roethlisberger played a pretty good game aside from the a interception( his first). He does deserve credit for taking over a big position in such short notice. The game was ofcourse pushed back after the hurricane threat, but the ending was inevitable. We played sloppy and we could improve on alot of things, but while we are winning I'm happy so lets get the Bengals on Sunday.

Maddox is out for a good part of the season

Maddox has ligament and tendon damage in his elbow which will prevent him from throwing for the next 6-8 weeks. This comes to the Steelers as a major hit and I am curious to see what we will do about it. Ben Roethlisberger who was supposed to be a starter later on in a few years is going to end up being our starter. The starters in the past havn't set much of a standard for him to follow in even though one of them(Terry Bradshaw) was a hall of famer. Lets keep our hopes up high and pray that Maddox will get over his injuries to return to play. Lets get an early leg up in the AFC North!

forget the past

After having a not so good season last year in games that were decided by a low amount of points, we seemed to improve on our intensity to the end instead of playing the same old intensity as if we were up by 20. Although the game against Oakland could have been better, its nice to know we are improving...
From Sports.Yahoo.Com:
``It seems like last year this was the kind of game we were losing,'' defensive end Aaron Smith said Monday. ``To have a game like this and come out with a victory shows that, this year, we've got a little different approach.''
